Do you use machine translation?

Our translations are produced by qualified human translators. We do not use raw machine translation as output. If you specifically need MT post-editing for internal documents, we can discuss that separately and it will be clearly marked as such.

Which language pairs do you cover?

Our primary pairs are Portuguese to and from English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, and Galician. We also handle Arabic, Russian, and Chinese Mandarin for document translation. Contact us for other pairs.

How are prices calculated?

Package prices are fixed totals based on approximate word count. For custom projects, we review your files and send a fixed quote before work begins. No word count estimates that change later. Scope changes are requoted before proceeding.

Can you certify translations for official use in Portugal?

Yes. We work with sworn translators approved by the Portuguese Ministry of Justice. Certified translations include an official statement and can be used in court, public registries, and administrative processes. Apostille support is available as an add-on.

What is the turnaround time?

Core package: 3 business days. Advance priority: 2 business days. Enterprise: agreed at intake. Priority Queue add-on available for next-business-day delivery on eligible scopes. Timelines start from receipt of all project files.

What happens after payment?

We send a project intake form within one business day. Translation begins after files are received and the brief is confirmed. You get a progress update at the 50% stage and delivery notification when complete.

Do you handle software and UI translation?

Yes. We localise SaaS platforms, mobile apps, CMS-based websites, and e-commerce stores. We work with XLIFF, JSON, PO files, and direct CMS updates. UI strings and SEO elements are included.

Can you translate for the Brazilian market?

Yes. European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese are different enough that we treat them as separate projects. We have translators native in both variants and are clear about which you are getting.
